Trading with Rhubarb_Runner

Rhubarb_Runner has a much better local card shop in his area than I do because he is always contacting me with a proposed trade.  Most of the time he'll see a Twins card on my blog that he wants and we go from there.  That is exactly what happened a few weeks ago when I posted the contents of a discounted 2010 Upper Deck blaster that I opened.  He offered a few different things in return for 2 Twins inserts and a base card.  He sent a few more cards then I thought I was getting which is always a nice treat.

I swapped a Twins jersey card for this card of Sean Casey.  The first thing I noticed about the card once it arrived in the mail was the back of the card.  First of all I like the fact that they picture the jersey that the piece supposedly comes from.  It's hard to tell from my scan, but in the black area in the bottom left there is a rectangular space where serially numbering should be printed.  I can't remember if all of these cards were numbered or not, but I found this a little puzzling.

I also received several random Braves base cards and parallels that I didn't have either.  One of these cards was this great 1997 Pinnacle (*edit) Artist's Proof parallel of Ryan Klesko.  I always thought Pinnacle had some really nice cards in the 90's and I loved their Defux technology.

I'm always open to trading so if you see something from one of my posts or from my trade bait lists let me know and I'm sure we can work something out!

  1. Yeah, I was going to point out that it's not a Museum Collection parallel, it's an Artist's Proof parallel. Had a good feeling you didn't have that one yet. ;)

  2. You got me there...I didn't originally catch that it was the Artist's Proof version.
