Group Break - 1995 Topps

We'll start the break off with the box of 1995 Topps.  36 packs per box, 15 cards per pack.  One Spectra Light card per pack.  The only other odds listed on the packs are Own the Game (1:120).  I believe there are some League Leader inserts that aren't mentioned anywhere if I remember correctly.  I'm going to do this box old school - meaning I'll type up the pack contents and share a few of the better looking cards.

There are All-Star cards featuring 2 players that I forgot about.  Those will be put to the side until each team's tally is completed.  Then whatever team received the fewest number of cards between the players listed on the All-Star card will get the card.  Just trying to make it fair to everyone participating.  Hopefully we'll get doubles so each team represented will get one.

...and this is where I lost all of my work when Blogger decided to take a break.  All the cards were sorted by team after the packs had been cataloged so I can't share the pack by pack break down unfortunately.  I did have the cards already scanned so I'll share the few I selected along with the non Spectra Light inserts.

Own the Game redemption card - wow, didn't think we'd get one of these.  Too bad that it's expired as it was a winning ticket for a complete set of Twins Spectra Light cards.

I hope to have the next box up this weekend.  The 1996 Fleer Emotion XL will be done on video just to be safe that I don't lose anymore work!  Stay tuned everyone.

  1. 95 Topps is the best! Unfortunately I only needed 9 series one base cards (79, 101, 128, 174, 176, 192, 193, 241, 267) so I didn't join the break. Nice post though!

  2. Great salvage Colbey. A little trick I picked up on a Sunday Afternoon Blaster that I lost was to type the box on a Word document first then copy and paste to Blogger. Just a little back up that saves all the effort. But good work either way and did the Dante Bichette/Kirby Puckett get a double?

  3. @ hiflew - thanks for the tip. Yes, I do believe we did end up w/ 2 of the Bichette/Puckett All-Star card.
