I was getting ready to pull the trigger on two hobby boxes from 2010. By getting ready I mean saving a few bucks and then buying them through "Best Offers" on eBay. However, D&A took the "Best Offer" option off and jacked the price up $10-$20 bucks. I missed my chance I guess. Or… they are being jacked up only to run a "sale" on them soon.Charles @ Hoopographyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03470157373493317997noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3798723981356546986.post-18751875575860273032011-01-31T19:13:54.585-05:002011-01-31T19:13:54.585-05:00Another reason that they raise the price is so tha...Another reason that they raise the price is so that they can include it in their weekend specials.Offyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14528345612847787915noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3798723981356546986.post-54463830296997186712011-01-31T16:17:08.634-05:002011-01-31T16:17:08.634-05:00yeah it happened last year too. I didn't see the price spike at the LCS as they had already ordered way too much and had to eventually drop the price to sell it all. And once the novelty of the MCG wore off you didn't really see any spike in Series 2 or Update. I'd expect the same this year. Plus it's the first go round, I'd expect this to come down in price eventually. Just think how cheap 2010 will be next month after all the MCG redemptions expire. I can't believe Blowout has jumbos for 121 right now. Crazy. Let's hope the product isn't littered with defects and quality issues this year.cynicalbuddhahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13459221069829023793noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3798723981356546986.post-62846622033191126642011-01-31T15:47:36.687-05:002011-01-31T15:47:36.687-05:00Yeah it's pretty normal. I will probably not even buy Series 1 until later maybe much later.hiflewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07128126188366882765noreply@blogger.com
