A card with more than one player on it

Today's challenge involves finding a card with more than one player on it. Simple enough. There are plenty of team cards, cards with images of the main player being congratulated by their teammates, or action plays involving a member of the opposite team. I wanted to find something that was at least a little different. Well while updating my 2016 Topps Stadium Club Want List today, I stumbled across the card that fit today's challenge perfectly...

When Prado played for the Braves he was a joy to watch, both on and off the field. When the team traded him to the Diamondbacks I know I wasn't the only fan that was sad to see him go. I love cards like this, when a teammate is about to surprise someone. This is just another reason why I love Stadium Club, photos like this.

Catching up w/ scanning some "new" cards

The problem with card collecting is it can easily snowball on you if you don't stay up to date.  Seeing that I've been away from actively blogging and cards in general, I've got a huge catalog of cards to scan and put into my own databases.  These cards aren't necessarily new, but I've yet to share them prior to today.  I've got cards for my Tim Hudson and Brandon Beachy PCs, Atlanta Braves, a few Carolina Panthers and Charlotte Bobcats plus a few NC State basketball autos to round everything out.

 

 

 

  

 

"New" pick-ups

Please tell me someone that I'm not the only one that has fallen behind on scanning new card acquisitions! With the exception of the 2014 Donruss Evan Gattis auto, the rest of the cards have been sitting in a stack on my desk at home waiting to be scanned for who knows how long!  The getting caught up work continues!

Catching up with some scanning - Atlanta Braves Edition

Below are the first part of the stack I scanned the other night featuring new Atlanta Braves that I've picked up at shows, on eBay/Yardsellr or via trades.  Eventually I'll get enough stuff scanned that I'll reveal the project I've been working on...well, since I started this blog!
