91-92 Skybox Series 2 Team Sets Up For Grabs!
Just for kicks I opened a box of 91-92 Skybox Series 2 NBA basketball cards. While it was a lot of fun reminiscing of when I was big into the NBA and basketball cards I just don't have to desire to keep the cards minus a few of the Michael Jordans and the Charlotte Hornets cards.
That said I'm offering up the team sets for the cost of shipping (about a buck). I doubt they'll be much interest, but I wanted to try here. If no one is interested then I'll be passing these on to a charitable organization.

I'm invited to a meeting w/ Michael Jordan?
Upon checking my e-mail earlier this morning I got this message from the NBA Charlotte Bobcats:

What is this town hall meeting all about? Beats me, but it's hosted my Michael Jordan and it's free. I'm guessing I got this invite from a former customer of mine that worked for the team. With baseball being over (for me at least) and with the Carolina Panthers sucking right now I guess I'll give the Bobcats a little attention this season. While I'm at it I may even see about tickets for the pre-season game that follows this meeting. If I'm going out of my way to head into uptown Charlotte I might as well make it worth my time. I'll report on this meeting later on if anyone cares.

* * * Special Bulletin * * *
We interrupt your blog to bring you this special bulletin...
The Charlotte Bobcats suck!
Come on guys, you can't even win one stinking game again the Magic in a best of 7 series? What gives?! Granted I haven't watched many games this season (thanks in part to your exclusive deal with Time Warner Cable), but man was it depressing watching these last 4 playoff games. Keep playing like this and you'll lose all the fans you gained this year on your run to the playoffs.
I'm wondering how good Michael Jordan feels about his purchase now? Heck, wonder what Larry Brown is thinking? Should I return to be embarrassed again?
We now return you to your regular blog...

Michaelcats?
So it looks like the local NBA team as a new owner in Michael Jordan. So far it seems like people's opinion's are mixed. Most could care less who owns the team as long as the team on the court is putting up wins.
The other debate is whether or not the team should be revamped and renamed. I never was a fan of the name Bobcats to begin with so I wouldn't mind if the name were changed. I do like the orange and better yet the dark blue uniforms.
So I'll take this question to the blog masses. If you were Michael Jordan, would you change the team's name? If so, what to?
