Affordable Group Break 2nd Team Randomization

Now that all the slots have been filled it's time to 1) say thank you again to those who signed up to participate and 2) randomize the unclaimed teams and assign them to each slot. As with in the past, trading is encouraged...just please post your trades somewhere public so that I know. I'd hate to send the wrong cards to the wrong person!

As a refresher, here are the teams that have been claimed:

Well, I was hoping to fill this break up with more people, but alas the sign up window has come and gone with only one more spot claimed. That leaves 6 slots left that I'll claim. Alright everyone, below are the results from the 2nd team randomization. This process was done live via my Facebook page. If you have not yet liked the page, I urge you to do so to keep up to date w/ the break and all the updates.

Team trading has begun! If you are not happy w/ the 2nd team you were randomly assigned, no worries. Hit up one of the other participants and propose a trade. Or you can post in the comments here. I just ask that if you complete a trade, please let me know one way or another so I can update my own list. I'd hate to send you the wrong cards once everything is over!

I'd also like some feedback on whether you would prefer a live break this Friday evening or Saturday evening. The default time will be Saturday evening, 08/26/17 at 9 PM Eastern...unless more of you want to do it Friday. Just comment below or shoot me an email.

Football Group Break 2nd Team Randomization

Sorry for the delay guys...my follow up trip to urgent care this evening took a lot longer than I anticipated.  If you don't want to watch the video, here is the breakdown of the 2nd teams.  Please note that since the break did not completely fill up, I selected the Jets, Giants and Raiders in the last 3 unfilled slots.

Thanks to Matt Pederson he pointed out that I actually forgot to do the randomization for the 2nd teams.  I was waiting until all the slots were filled before doing this...and well I forgot!  Thanks Matt!

I've loaded the unclaimed teams into Random.org and we'll hit the random button 3 times.  The teams will be awarded in the same order that everyone signed up.  So the Braves will be #1 and the Rays will be #15.

In my excitement over Allen & Ginter being released earlier this weekend I failed to do this post earlier.  Thanks again to Steve Hart from the Baseball Card Exchange for again sponsoring another Affordable Group Break.

The boxes arrived earlier today, but before we can get ripping we need to randomize the unclaimed teams to see what additional team(s) we all get.  I'll be listing the unclaimed teams in no particular order using Random.org and numbering them 1-15.  We'll hit the random button three times and you'll get whatever team that corresponds to the original order of sign ups.  Here again are the teams claimed in their original order"

2012 Topps is almost here!  That means February's Affordable Group Break is almost here!  According to Blowout Cards our boxes should ship Wednesday.  I'm hoping that means we'll have the boxes in hand by the weekend.  It's going to be a big weekend.  It's my weekend off from work.  Super Bowl.  Group Break.  Fun times are ahead!
