[The Word Became Flesh] In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

As I get ready to settle in for another Carolina Panthers football game, my prayers go out to the family of the Kansas City linebacker and the family of his girlfriend that were killed yesterday.  News reports said the couple have a 2 month old baby.  I can't even begin to imagine what both families are going through this weekend.
