Joshua 24:15 (NIV)
15 But if serving the
Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom
you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the
Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living.
But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.
It seems when this verse is used only the last sentence is shown, but I didn't want to leave anything out. Some time ago my wife found some cool wall art graphics @ Target which this verse. It's now prominently featured on the wall above the fireplace in our living room.
I know my recent post about the evolution set of cards in the newly released Allen & Ginter stirred upped the hornet's nest so to speak. I figured I'd get a few replies...which I wanted, but I never intended the conversation to go on as long as it deed. I neither planned to offend or insult anyone either. I only wanted to share my opinion. That said I want to put the topic to bed and move on - get back to talking about baseball and baseball cards. I wasn't however going to let a Sunday come and go without sharing another Bible verse.
Have a great Sunday everyone. Play Ball!
